Your data

Deleting your account

You can delete your PokerIQ account from inside the app, at any time, without asking us. Here is where the button is, what it removes, and how long it takes.

From inside the app

  1. 01Open the You tabThe rightmost tab in the app.
  2. 02Open SettingsScroll to the account rows at the bottom.
  3. 03Choose Delete account and confirmPokerIQ asks once more, because this is not reversible. Confirming files the request and signs you out.

Your data is removed within 48 hours of the request. You are signed out straight away.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, and the random identifier it is keyed on.
  • Your email address and any linked Apple or Google identifier.
  • The name and avatar you chose, and your onboarding answers.
  • All progress: chips, Poker IQ, grades, hands, puzzles and practice history.
  • Your settings and preferences.

What does not go, and why

Your subscription

A subscription lives with your Apple ID, not with your PokerIQ account. Deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel on your iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.

Billing and tax records

Where we are legally required to keep a record of a transaction, we keep it for as long as that obligation lasts. It holds no gameplay.

Aggregate counts

Numbers that are no longer about you, such as how many hands were played last week, survive as totals. They cannot be traced back to an account.

If you no longer have the app

Write to support@mypokeriq.app from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We will verify it is yours before we act, which protects you rather than slows you down, and we respond within 30 days as the privacy policy commits to.

If you never signed in, there is no email to write from and nothing that identifies you as a person. Deleting the app removes the only link to that account.
